Study: Flu vaccine is safe for children with egg allergies

Canadian researchers monitored 367 people with egg allergies, mostly children, who received the flu vaccine over five years, and found that none of those with a history of anaphylaxis had serious reactions to the drug. They noted 13 cases of mild reactions to the vaccine within a day of administration. The findings appear in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
