Canadian researchers monitored 367 people with egg allergies, mostly children, who received the flu vaccine over five years, and found that none of those with a history of anaphylaxis had serious reactions to the drug. They noted 13 cases of mild reactions to the vaccine within a day of administration. The findings appear in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
