Darlington shifts to better-for-you snacks

Darlington, the snack company founded in Noblesville, Ind., 30 years ago, has moved from a focus on cookies to products with whole grains and other nutritional benefits. Response has been "outstanding" to new products including Appleways snack bars and Waffle Crisps, said Phil Hockemeyer, owner and president. Crave-n-Rave Spikerz cracker bites will debut next year.
