Dow seeks approval for new insect-resistant soybean trait

Dow AgroSciences has filed applications in key soybean-growing countries for a new insect-resistant soybean trait. The soybean, which provides protection against lepidopteran pests, is the first to be submitted for review that expresses two Bacillus thuringiensis proteins. Dow plans to launch the trait in South America.
