Free iPad app raises the bar for flipped instruction

Massachusetts teacher Natasha Rausch was intent on flipping her classroom but says her early attempts to create instructional videos from scratch were of poor quality. At a summer workshop, Rausch was introduced to the free iPad application Knowmia Teach, which allows teachers to create video presentations and publish them on the app's website. Now, Rausch uses the app to make homework videos, boil down textbook information and help students prepare for tests.
