House GOP group heads to White House for talks

President Barack Obama will meet with 18 House Republicans today to discuss the debt ceiling and the government shutdown. Although Obama invited the full Republican caucus, a smaller group attending is seen as an encouraging sign that negotiations could advance. Lawmakers who are backed by the Tea Party will not be attending.
