IBM partners with universities on Big Data curriculum

Big Data is developing a greater presence in the technology industry. As a result, academic programs centered on data analytics also are growing. IBM has teamed with more than 1,000 universities around the world to help such programs. New York University's Center for Urban Science and Progress was created in partnership with IBM and other companies and city agencies to produce graduates skilled in a field of data analytics called "urban informatics."
