Las Vegas middle school incorporates canine therapy

Students with disabilities at a Las Vegas middle school welcome a group of special visitors every Tuesday. That's when K9 Therapists of Las Vegas visit Laura Rehfeldt's special-education class. Rehfeldt says the weekly visits have helped boost some students' verbal and social skills. "There are no scripted conversations, so some of my students who don't respond are starting to become more verbal," she said.
