NASA-funded 3D food printer pops out a pizza from scratch

Systems and Materials Research Corp. is demonstrating a 3D printer it developed with financing from NASA that the space agency hopes may someday replace cumbersome food packages on long space flights. While the printer is still in its beginning stages, the company apparently still has some work to do -- at least if this pizza made from ketchup and cream cheese is any indication.
