Starbucks is running a "pay-it-forward" campaign to encourage cooperation and sharing among customers that it hopes will trickle down to feuding federal lawmakers. Starbucks customers who buy someone else their favorite drink will get a free tall brewed coffee through Friday, according to an e-mail from CEO Howard Schultz. "This is a different yet authentic way Starbucks can help our fellow citizens to come together by supporting one another during a particularly challenging time," wrote Schultz.
