Study: Triathletes report lower pain levels, higher tolerance

A study of triathletes found they reported lower levels of pain and greater pain tolerance compared with a control group of nonathletes, Tel Aviv University researchers wrote in the journal Pain. The study team said the next step was to find out whether intense training improves pain tolerance.
