To teach sustainability, professor moves into dumpster

To help his students come to grips with sustainability, environmental science professor Jeff Wilson sold all his belongings and moved into a garbage container. His students will help him update the 33-square-foot dumpster with modern conveniences while monitoring the environmental cost of the additions, then retrofitting the site with greener alternatives.
