California home-school credentialing law to be enforced more rigorously

People who educate home-schoolers in the state need to be credentialed or affiliated with a public school, a rule that will be more strictly enforced, the Education Department has said. Parents who home-school their children have countered that they are complying with the rules, as the state does not require private school teachers to be credentialed.
