Spitzer has eye on 401(k) fee disclosures

Insurance company ING Groep NV is close to a settlement with New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer that could alter the way financial-service companies disclose the fee structure of 401(k) plans. The settlement plan requires ING to disclose its fees in plain English and tell investors about payments it receives for including other companies' funds in its retirement plans.
