Female soldiers play a unique role in Afghan efforts

Female soldiers are playing a critical role in Afghan military operations as they're able to interact with the country's female population, which is barred from interacting with unknown males. The Female Engagement Team program is advancing efforts to provide communities what they need in medical assistance and educational programs, say program leaders.
