NCGA, USGC are confident about corn supply

U.S. farmers will produce enough corn to fulfill demand for food, fuel use, feedstock and exports, said Bart Schott, president of the National Corn Growers Association. This statement came after the Department of Agriculture revised its crop estimate from 13.1 billion bushels to 12.7 billion bushels. Tom Dorr, the president and CEO of the U.S. Grains Council, agreed with Schott, saying farmers will "produce [their] way out of this very quickly."
