Report says health reform will cover 81% of uninsured young adults

Up to 12.1 million uninsured adults ages 19 to 29 are expected to get their coverage through Medicaid and private insurance programs by 2014, when much of the health reform law takes full effect, according to a Commonwealth Fund report. A provision that allows those younger than 26 to enroll under their parents' health plans also will result in coverage of an additional 1 million young adults.
