Michigan schools get anti-childhood-obesity funds

Detroit-based Charles H. Wright Academy of Arts and Science, Maybury Elementary and Neinas Elementary were among 63 schools across Michigan to receive funding from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan's Building Healthy Communities school program to fight childhood obesity. The grants will be used for programs to encourage healthy eating habits and physical activity.
