Private app stores cater to busy doctors

Apple's best efforts notwithstanding, mobile application stores are crowded with consumer and fitness apps that have little relevance to physicians. Happtique is testing a curated app store for health care providers that features apps selected by a physician, a nurse and a medical librarian. "[C]linicians don't want to wade through the muck to find useful tools," writes industry blogger Neil Versel. "I fully expect them to flock to curated, private collections."
