Testing under way for wound-healing device

Sterionics is conducting in vitro testing of its sterilization device that employs cold plasma technology to sterilize wounds and kill drug-resistant infections. The Cleveland startup aims to market the device initially to the military for use in combat situations and eventually to the chronic wound-care and other markets, said Steve Weeks, the company's acting CEO.
