AOPA CEO: We need to make airports welcoming

As added security measures after the Sept. 11 attacks, many airports put up fences and other protective features. "I've been driven a little bit crazy about all the fences around the airports," said AOPA's new president and CEO, Mark Baker. Baker wants to focus on regional events that will bring the fun back to airports. "We have to create the access and the welcome," he said.
