Breast implants may improve patients' sex lives

Women who got breast implants and did not have stretch marks as a result of the surgery reported enhanced sexual arousal and satisfaction, but women who developed post-surgical striae did not report an improvement in their sex lives, according to a study of 45 women. "It's very common for a woman post-surgery to say she feels more confident, that her outward body now fits her inward persona," said plastic surgeon David Reath, chair of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons' public education committee.
