Heated debate preceded Fed's decision on bond buying

The Federal Open Market Committee energetically argued positive and negative aspects of the Federal Reserve's bond-buying program before deciding to leave it unchanged, according to minutes from the committee's recent meeting. The decision was "a relatively close call" for several members concerned that financial markets were expecting the central bank to start scaling back stimulus, according to the minutes.
