Social media can be a gold mine for job seekers who know how to use it, Emerson College junior Christina Jedra writes. In this article, Jedra shares information from job seekers on best social media practices, including starting a blog to highlight communication skills and searching Twitter for job hashtags. "I usually search marketing companies in the Boston area and read their tweets or search #interns, #fallinterns. I've gotten my two best internships via Twitter," student Andrea Torres said.
