How rehearsal, connection can improve a job interview

Job candidates can ace an interview if they rehearse answers to common questions and try to personally connect with the interviewer, blogger Lindsey Kesel writes in this post. They should create bullet points to cover when answering questions -- without sounding too rehearsed -- and find a way to connect with the interviewer, she suggests. "Try to work in a particularly unusual experience that both demonstrates character and helps you stand out, such as your hobby of house flipping, your summer in Africa, or your new goal of doing a triathlon," Kesel writes.
