"New normal" climate to affect billions by 2047, study says

A study published in the journal Nature says that greenhouse gases will cause permanently warmer climates by 2047 and will affect up to 5 billion people, especially those in developing countries. "The coldest year in the future will be warmer than the hottest year in the past," said Camilo Mora, a geography professor and data analyst at the University of Hawaii.
