Rejection of Keystone XL could stifle economic growth, execs say

The rejection of TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline would threaten economic growth and weaken investor confidence, business executives warned President Barack Obama. "Whether economic growth will remain modest or pick up speed will depend on maintaining investor confidence and strengthening America's competitiveness," the executives said in a letter to Obama. "The decision on Keystone XL will affect both."
