Researchers look to extend graphene's use to gas tanks, beer bottles

Researchers at Rice University are developing a plastic tank embedded with graphene nanoribbons that could be used to carry natural gas to power vehicles, Signe Brewster writes. This technology could also be extended to plastic bottles, keeping beer and soda fresher over time, according to the researchers.
