Study: Stocks are a better option than less risky investments

A 20-country study has found that a higher allocation to stocks is optimal for investors with longer time horizons. For example, if an investor has a 30-year time horizon, stocks become less risky in terms of purchasing power than holding one-year Treasury bills and rolling them over, according to the study.
