Survey: Mobile drug apps help prevent adverse events

Forty-two percent of 558 nursing home medical directors surveyed said they use a mobile device to assist with drug prescribing, and 88% of those doctors said doing so had prevented at least one possible adverse event in the previous four weeks. The survey results were published in the Journal of the American Medical Directors Association.
