World Bank: Emerging economies have a brief time to adjust before U.S. Fed tightens

The U.S. Federal Reserve's extended US$85 billion-a-month bond-buying program gives emerging economies two to three months to take the steps necessary to avoid damage when the Fed begins to tighten, advised World Bank President Jim Yong Kim. "The message we want to send to everybody is now is the time to make the reforms that you need to make," Kim said at a news conference.
