New regional jets feature more space, storage

The new generation of regional jets are roomier and more comfortable then their predecessors, according to the Los Angeles Times. Airlines are quickly adding the planes to their fleets. United Airlines recently started flying the newer regional jets on dozens of routes. Its planes also feature leather seats, a section with more legroom and overhead storage compartments that can accommodate standard carry-on bags.
