Experts: FTC likely to say yes to Google-DoubleClick merger

Google's $3.1 billion acquisition of DoubleClick is likely to get the go-ahead from the FTC, according to antitrust experts. Although Microsoft and other rivals have raised antitrust and privacy questions over the deal, regulators are more likely to take the view that the ad field is sufficiently large -- and diverse -- to accommodate the presence of the combined company. The FTC had no comment on the pending review.
