Canadian officials were in Boston recently to stump for high-speed rail that would link the Northeast and Quebec. The meeting between a former Canadian ambassador to the U.S., Raymond Chrétien, and transportation secretaries of Northeastern states centered on issues including infrastructure planning, regional programs and cost sharing.
