Health professionals use Groupon to drum up business

Health care professionals including dentists and opticians are diving into social media to engage their patients and find new business, with many using sites such as Groupon to lure potential patients with discounts and special offers. About 15% of all Groupon deals are for health services, the company says, and some health care providers report netting hundreds of new clients through carefully pitched social-commerce offers.
