Tackling the world's problems with startups

Daniel Epstein's Unreasonable Institute holds a competition each year to bring together 25 startup founders from around the globe to Boulder, Colo., to meet with mentors drawn from the world's top entrepreneurs. Together mentors and founders work out business solutions to the world's problems such as solar energy or health crises in developing countries, and many startups find venture capital funding.
