Wendy's revamps logo, revs up marketing

Wendy's will launch an updated version of its logo in March, as part of a larger push to convince consumers to give the chain another try, said marketing chief Craig Bahner. The new logo, the first in 30 years, will include an older-looking version of the familiar girl with red pigtails and a simpler text style. "We want to signal to consumers that Wendy’s is on track and that it’s a different experience than maybe they’ve had in the past few years," said Bahner, who joined the company in April.
