Calif. district pilots online math curriculum

Officials in a California school district say they've focused more on reading and writing in recent years -- resulting in improvement on standardized test scores. Officials now plan to focus more on math instruction with the adoption of a one-year pilot of an online math curriculum aligned with the Common Core State Standards.
