Construction of the estimated $1 billion Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi, Russia, is underway, but it's the only major Winter Games facility that isn't yet completed. One of the revised architectural plans for the project includes a roof. Designed by U.S. firm Populous, the roof, which took a year to build, is a temporary addition for safety purposes. The stadium will be the venue for the 2014 Olympics and Paralympics' opening and closing ceremonies. When the Games are over, the roof will be dismantled -- that will also take a year.
