Dietitian suggests healthier Halloween treats that children will still love

Parents have healthier alternatives for Halloween treats, such as fruit-based "leathers," "ropes" and squeezable pouches without added sugars, writes registered dietitian Julie Upton, who notes that her own children have endorsed the list. Single-serve packs of nuts, small packages of jelly beans, mini-bites of chocolate bars, raisins, pudding pouches and small toys also are treat options children will enjoy, Upton writes.
