FDA OKs wireless blood pressure monitor from Sotera

The FDA has approved Sotera Wireless to market its ViSi Mobile system, which is used to monitor blood pressure and key vital signs continuously without the need for a cuff or catheter. Using sensors placed on the chest and thumb, the device captures and sends vital-sign data to clinicians wirelessly via mobile and desktop devices to keep them informed of their patients' health.
