Nike CEO Mark Parker keeps a sketchbook full of ideas, with one side reserved for business ideas and the other for possible shoe designs. The aim is to ensure that business priorities and creativity are kept in harmony, Parker explains. "I think about balance a lot," he says. "Most of us are out of balance, and that's OK, but you need to keep your eye on the overall equilibrium to be successful."
