Canada's climb in nonresidential construction continues

The uninterrupted growth of nonresidential construction in Canada, dating to 2003, continued in the third quarter, Statistics Canada said. The building boom, most recently driven by increased commercial investment, is linked to Canada's strong labor market, corporate profits, robust retail and wholesale sectors and declining urban vacancy rates.
