Boston Scientific gets FDA approval for drug-coated stent

The FDA granted approval for Boston Scientific's Taxus Liberte, a drug-coated heart stent. The clearance suggests that the agency may soon end a moratorium imposed in January 2006 because of quality-control issues on products from the company.
