Limited budget creates roadblocks for transit projects

Representatives from the Maryland Department of Transportation and the State Highway Administration reported recently that funding for mass transit and road projects will be limited for the foreseeable future due to budget constraints and the unstable economy. About $1.1 billion worth of planned transportation projects across the state will be affected.
