Decline in dollar's value helps reduce trade deficit

The U.S. trade deficit narrowed to $30.7 billion in August, down from $31.9 billion, as exports increased and imports declined, the Commerce Department says. The increase in exports was boosted by the decline of the dollar against most major currencies. But analysts fear that the a sharp turn in sentiment against the dollar could still occur.
