BrainStorm Cell gets approval to study stem cell therapy in Israel

BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics has obtained clearance from the Israeli Ministry of Health to conduct clinical trials of its bone marrow-derived stem cell therapy for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig's disease. The Israel-based firm will screen study participants and verify sterility exams before launching the study.
