Economists are wary about growth prospects

A group of economists have lowered their forecast for economic growth this year and indicated that high unemployment and weak consumer spending will hamper growth going forward. The 46 economists surveyed in a National Association of Business Economics report lowered their projection of gross domestic product to 2.6% this year, down from an earlier estimate of 3.2% growth.
