"Extended search" prompts passenger suit against TSA

A lawsuit filed in federal court in Texas alleges that the Transportation Security Administration singled out a female traveler at the airport in Corpus Christi, Texas, for "extended search procedures," exposing her in front of other passengers and inflicting emotional distress. The lawsuit also claims that TSA agents joked about the search after frisking the woman and pulling her blouse down completely. A spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney's Office declined to comment on the lawsuit.
