Frontier boss says he is open to collaboration

With the airline industry consolidating, Republic Airways CEO Bryan Bedford says Frontier may seek out a marketing deal with a major carrier. "We do believe there is a low-cost opportunity where, frankly, we think Frontier could help some of our network partners," Bedford said Monday. "It's premature to speculate on who and what that would be." He seemed to rule out a merger, however: "It doesn't have to be consolidation," he noted. "There are other options we are seeing in terms of collaboration."
