Lifestyle program helps pregnant women manage weight gain

Pregnant women who adhered to a lifestyle program that includes diet and exercise guidelines were more likely to regain their original weight six months after pregnancy than counterparts who didn't, a study showed. Normal-weight women under the program were also less likely to gain excess pounds during pregnancy, researchers reported.
